over the years, i’ve had the pleasure of meeting and connecting with other femme, female-identifying, and non-binary vinyl collectors through social media and record fairs. however, this space is still heavily dominated by men – and this is why i created in between spins. every week, i’ll share pieces of my record collection, books i’m reading, art i’m enjoying, and whatever else i’m doing in between spinning records. i’ll even have some special guests join me along the way. in addition to a youtube channel dedicated to femme, female-identifying, and non-binary vinyl collectors, our first quarterly feminist zine is also available to purchase with all proceeds going to Trinity Place Shelter, a homeless shelter in NYC for LGBTQ youth. this first issue of the zine explores how we navigate relationships with male figures in our lives. if you’d like to get involved with the channel or zine, feel free to reach out to me on social media or email hello@inbetweenspins.com.
